Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the 2014/2015 school year! It is a
pleasure to have your child in my classroom this school year. I look forward to
an exciting and successful academic year. My objective for the academic school year is for your student to achieve the shared knowledge and skills goals of Common Core Standards as outlined by the state. To achieve this, your child needs to:
1)
Obey classroom
and school rules.
2)
Attend school regularly.
3)
Complete daily
homework assignments including the 20 minutes of reading for their log.
4)
Participate in
class.
5)
Bring necessary
supplies including blue or black ink and red for editing, pencils, paper, three
composition books, index cards and index card holder.
6)
Agenda book
(given to students by the school)
7)
Hand sanitizer and a box of Kleenex.

* Late work will be accepted however students will have points deducted
unless they have an excused absence.
